S'appening!
So just a quick one. Last week (September 18th) was my 24th Birthday, I'm never one to really make a big deal of it as I hate getting older, I'm like Peter Pan, except my name is Matt and I'm not living in a fairy tale so pick yourself up and stop moaning!
On the 17th I went to Thorpe Park with the missus which was great as always and the 18th consisted of a lay-in, a spot of golf, Wagamama's and then a night in the casino where I placed some saucy bets, it's all about red 18!!
I got a nice email from the guys who arranged the Nike setup for me a while back. They've taken on a new project with Pepsi and are asking for my "presenting skills" to get it rolling. It's called Pepsi Max Cast which has a line up that includes bands such as "The Enemy" , "The Hoosiers" and the musical expertise of "Alan McGee" who was the founder and manager of a little band called Oasis. It's a music platform that originated on MySpace as a sponsored channel. The aim of the project is to provide users with the inside-track on the music scene, what’s cool, what’s on – all provided by the line up of Artists.
On Wednesday I was asked to kick things off by meeting "Tom Clarke" who is the lead singer for "The Enemy" It was a quick 5 minute interview which went smoothly and he turned out to be a really easy going lad which I wasn't actually expecting. I'm not one for interviews but this was different as I was actually having a genuine conversation with the guy and it was good to hear what he had to say.
You should be able to see the interview soon so keep an eye out for it. in the mean time, check out Pepsi Max Cast
