Getting back to basicsJuly 20th 2009
"it's time to get back to what I used to do, "attempt" to entertain."
It’s been a tough couple of months, I’m trying to progress but can’t get off of square 1. The reason I’ve not been around for so long is that I had my head in the clouds, I was waiting and relying on an opportunity that was given to me to begin. In fact I was waiting about 6 months in total which is why appearances on your computer screen have got less and less and less.

I have a problem, I tend to put all of my eggs in one basket meaning when I have a task, a goal or something to achieve I’ll put all of my concentration into it and do the best job I possibly can. Not necessarily a bad thing but when something you’re so excited about, something you’re proud to be a part of, something you wake up thinking about everyday is suddenly snatched away from you......then what?

Well you’d usually fall back on something else but if you’re like me then you’ll have nothing. I feel like I’ve let everybody down even though it’s out of my hands. There’s no point in moping around feeling sorry for myself though, it’s time to get back to what I used to do, “attempt” to entertain.

I’ve got to the point of where my creativity needs more than just me and my macbook (which is broke) ,I’ve been trying to get together a small team of people that a can all help each other with their own projects, to all chip in with camera work, lighting and most of all collaborate on ideas. It’ll be a constant brainstorming session which would be great! Unfortunately it’s a lot harder than I thought. People don’t seem to be interested anymore but I’ll keep plugging away.

Over this long period of quiet time I have been working on a lot of short sketches and other ideas to make up for such a long time out, it’s just a case of getting those people together to make it happen. Hopefully it won’t be too long before you see me again

Thanks for your patience
