"it's something I really want as I just need to be given a chance and it's not often that something like this comes along."
Hello people!
It's becoming a trend that I start my blogs with the usual "sorry it's been a while" so I shall continue to follow that trend.
Sorry it's been a while :) But you'll be pleased to hear I've been very productive with my time. Let's start from where we left off in the last blog. I wasn't feeling too comfortable with what Nike were after and just stressed with life in general. I wrote a song with NSG ages ago and one of the lyrics was " I'm going grey, I'm going bald, I'm looking like a mess" It was true, I was really down about things and just wanted to be happy!
Mind you I did get featured on the front page of YouTube. That was nice, shame the majority of people didn't understand sarcasm. I'm always going to struggle as my comedy and humor totally revolves around it.
So I needed a holiday, so that's where I went. Me, The Missus and The Sun spent a nice week out in Cyrpus. It was a good laugh and eventually met a really nice couple called Colin and Amanda! Things started off bad though because nobody else liked us on the resort. There were 3 large families that stuck their noses up at us who spent most of the time making their kids win silly competitions in order to win "Superstar TShirts" After about 2 days I'm sure they could have filled a wardrobe of them. Sharan really wanted to get one for me though because that's what she calls me, Superstar!
We got the last laugh and ended up winning ourselves one which was nice. Unfortunately it was one size fits all and I don't really fancy doubling my weight just to fit into this, maybe I'll keep it for when I'm older and lose control of my stomach.
We flew back home and reached Stanstead Airport at 5am and as soon we hit the ground I received a voicemail telling me to attend a casting for a feature film at 4:30. Sharans Mum kindly picked us up at silly o'clock in the morning and got me home safely at which point I hit the pillow for a fews hours then made my way to the Embassy night club for the casting.
It was good to meet the rest of the crew and talk about film. If you go over to www.michaelsresignation.co.uk you can see the pictures from the day. I'll be presenting the making of for the film and it's looking likely that I'll get the part in the film too, it's something I really want as I just need to be given a chance and it's not often that something like this comes along.
Next up was the Nike City Final in North London. I had in mind what I wanted to get done and yes, I got it done! I took Jonny (JDM525.net) with me to film as well as Wozza who was hoping to meet Theo Walcott who I got to interview which was cool. Wozza's a big Arsenal fan so it was the least I could do. I also met Steve who I originally met at the film casting. He already knew of me through YouTube and has been watching my video's pretty much since day 1. Steve will be behind the scenes on the film making sure everything is in order, a director of something if you like....I'm not sure exactly.
Steve was very keen to help out with editing the Nike video and I'm glad he did...it only took us 13 hours but I'm sure you'll agree, it's a bloody good video! I'm going to send Steve the raw footage of day and he's going to put together a bloopers video...believe me, there is plenty!! so hold tight for that too.
Anyways, it's 2:45 in the morning as I write this and I'm due in work at 9:30 so I'd better get some sleep.
Thanks for reading and continuing to give me support. It's much appreciated :)
Later!
